As an islander I understand the value that our eco system has for the world and what a great living education it is for visitors. But I do get frustrated with the multitude of government and private agencies that produce more and more paper, or send people to conduct interviews (to create more paper).
What we need is funding for projects up front, and boots on the ground after a major event. We need financial and physical help to protect our islands and reefs so that future generations of islanders and visitors can learn to respect the natural world.
